WASAGA BEACH – Since Playtime Casino Wasaga Beach opened in November 2022, the Town of Wasaga Beach has received $4,691,339 through the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation’s (OLG) Municipality Contribution Agreement.
These payments provide the municipality with additional funding that can be invested in local priorities, including infrastructure and important community services that benefit residents.
“Revenues from OLG’s Municipality Contribution Agreement allow Wasaga Beach to invest in infrastructure and provide funding for critical community services,” said Brian Saunderson, MPP for Simcoe-Grey. “Provincial revenues from Playtime Casino Wasaga Beach will help improve the quality of life for families across Ontario.”

OLG reported a combined payment total for the first six quarters following the casino’s opening. Individual quarterly amounts for this period were not individually released.
