United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women

VIDEO REPORT: Simcoe-Grey MPP Brian Saunderson rose in the Ontario Legislature on Monday, November 28th to shine a spotlight on the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Saunderson paid tribute to two non-profit Simcoe-Grey organizations that provide critical shelter and support services for women and their children who experience domestic violence. He recognized My Sister’s Place in Alliston and My Friend’s House in Collingwood as both facilities continue to assist those in need throughout the riding. Both organizations have received significant financial support from the Ontario government.
