The Seniors Community Grant Program

Calling all community groups and organizations! Apply now for the Seniors Community Grant Program to support projects that help older adults stay connected, engaged and active.
The Seniors Community Grant Program helps local not-for-profit community groups and organizations deliver projects, supports and resources that help older adults (aged 55+):
- live independently
- live with safety and security
- stay connected to their community
- avoid isolation
- achieve greater financial security and social connections
Programming can be delivered either:
- remotely
- virtually
- in-person
Grants range from $1,000 to up to $25,000.
Since 2018, the Seniors Community Grant Program has supported over 2,100 projects in communities across Ontario.
Over the years, several organizations in Simcoe-Grey have benefitted from the Seniors Community Grant Program, helping them expand supports and opportunities for older adults in our community. Past recipients include:
• Breaking Down Barriers
• Collingwood Leisure Time Club
• Collingwood Paddling Club
• CONTACT Community Services
• Gibson Cultural Centre
• The Township of Essa
• Town of Wasaga Beach
• Wasaga Beach Public Library
