Stayner Siskins are Champions
Siskins will now compete for the Schmalz Cup
Congratulations to the Stayner Siskins, winners of the North Conference Final Junior C hockey series. The Siskins defeated the Midland Flyers, Orillia Terriers, their long-time rivals the Alliston Hornets in a hard fought series and charged ahead to defeat the Mount Forest Patriots 6-2 at home in front of a packed arena on Sunday April 30th to win the North Conference Finals and earn the right to compete in the Schmalz Cup Final Four Tournament in Woodstock!
The PJHL Schmalz Cup Championship Tournament will be held from May 11th to14th in Woodstock and will see the four conferences compete in a round-robin format to determine rankings for the semi-finals to be played on May 13th featuring the Lakeshore Canadiens, Stayner Siskins, Clarington Eagles and the Wellesley Applejacks.
