SIMCOE-GREY, ON – Today, Brian Saunderson, MPP for Simcoe-Grey announced the Ontario government is providing four organizations in Simcoe-Grey with $618,900 in funding through the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s (OTF) Resilient Communities grant stream. These grants support community-based organizations that deliver programs and services in Ontario and need funding to recover and build capacity, resilience and sustainability.
The local recipients are:

•Contact Community Services – $151,600
•Living Better With Parkinson’s – $88,400
•Clearview Township – $199,000
“Our government believes organizations such as these enrich the lives of people in Simcoe-Grey and play an important role in building strong, inclusive and resilient communities in Ontario. That’s why I am proud that they are each receiving this funding support,” said Saunderson. “These organizations are each pillars in their communities and these grants will enable them to better serve their populations and continue to make a positive difference.”
“Non-profit organizations across Ontario deliver programming that makes a difference,” said Neil Lumsden, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport. “That’s why funding that my ministry is providing through the OTF is so important. Our government wants to ensure that these programs and spaces remain the heart of communities across our province.”
The Ontario Trillium Foundation’s (OTF) mission is to build healthy and vibrant communities across Ontario. As an agency of the Government of Ontario, and one of Canada’s leading granting foundations, last year, OTF invested over $110M into 1,022 community projects and partnerships. Visit to learn more.
