Simcoe-Grey MPP Brian Saunderson participated in a breakfast and networking event with RTOERO board members and staff on Monday October 24, 2002. An important portion of the conversation focused on the role RTOERO plays in supporting Ontario’s seniors in the education community.
RTOERO Vibrant Voices works with 82,000+ members in 51 districts across Canada and is the largest national provider of non-profit group health benefits for education community retirees. The organization believes all levels of government need to have a comprehensive seniors’ strategy. In addition, they feel governments need to place greater focus on health care training and services for older adults and that immediate action is needed to improve environmental stewardship.
