Congratulations to Royal Canadian Legion Branch 457 – Stayner on receiving up to $196,200 through the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Capital Grant stream.
This provincial investment has supported important upgrades to the Legion, including improvements to the building’s electrical systems, lighting, heating and kitchen. These enhancements will create a more functional, comfortable and welcoming space for Legion members, Veterans and the broader community.
Royal Canadian Legions play an important role in communities across Ontario. In addition to honouring the service and sacrifice of Veterans and remembering those who served, Branch 457 provides a place where residents can gather, participate in community activities and build connections.
The improvements made possible through this funding will help ensure the Stayner Legion can continue to serve its members and expand its community programming for years to come.
