Rotary Club of Wasaga Beach – Community Service Celebration 2025
May 12, 2025
The year was 2000, the world marched on after Y2K.
Gladiator was the top-grossing film in theatres.
And a controversial recount in Florida gave George W. Bush the US Presidency.
Also in 2000, the Corvette Lottery Draw was born, created by the Rotary Club in Wasaga Beach.
Each year since, the local Rotary Club has raffled off a stunning new Corvette and in doing so has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars. Those funds are then dispersed to countless service groups and organizations throughout Wasaga Beach and surrounding area. In all, $200,000 in Corvette Lottery winnings were handed out to 28 different groups and organizations at the Annual 2025 Community Service Celebration held at the Wasaga Stars Arena and Library.
The draw for this year’s Corvette Lottery will be held in August.
Congratulations to all involved for your efforts in helping so many who benefit from this fantastic fundraiser!
