Ontario Volunteer Service Awards

Volunteerism is often described as the heartbeat of our communities. Recognizing volunteers for their selfless efforts formally acknowledges their essential role in addressing needs, building trust, and creating stronger communities across Ontario. I would like to thank all non-profit organizations in Simcoe-Grey for all the important work that you and your volunteers do to make our communities better. I encourage you to consider nominating your eligible volunteers for an Ontario Volunteer Service Award.

This award recognizes volunteers for providing committed and dedicated service. Organizations can nominate their volunteers who have given continuous service ranging from five to 65 years. Youth volunteers (anyone under 24 years old) can be recognized for two or more years of continuous service.

The deadline to nominate someone is November 15, 2024. Nominations received after the deadline will be considered in the following year.
