Community Infrastructure Renewal Fund:

The Governing Council of The Salvation Army in Canada on behalf of Hope Acres – $83,152.

“Our government is making investments to ensure Ontario’s hospitals and community health infrastructure continue to be state-of-the-art facilities,” said Sylvia Jones, Deputy Premier and Minister of Health. “This funding will also help build the capacity we need to end hallway health care and ensure people continue to receive world-class care.”

“On behalf of University Health Network, I want to thank the Government for this crucial and needed investment in our hospital infrastructure. This funding is essential to the operations of UHN, and integral to supporting UHN as a leader in the delivery of high-quality patient care to the most complex patients in the healthcare system. With this investment, we are well positioned to continue to enhance the physical infrastructure of the hospital to improve the patient experience, which is essential for healing and recovery, as well as provide a safe and comfortable environment for all members of Team UHN,” said Dr. Kevin Smith, President and CEO of University Health Network.
