It was a pleasure to take part in the 2023 My Friend’s House Red Shoe Walk in downtown Collingwood on Saturday September 23rd. The first full day of fall delivered brilliant sunshine to greet the participants of this important annual event.
“I have been doing this for nine years now. It is such an important event not only to raise awareness but it is also what I call a friend-raiser” said MPP Saunderson. “I remember when I first started doing this walk the local share for fundraising was about two hundred thousand dollars. Now it is almost three-quarters of a million dollars. It is very important that we support this.”
