Meeting a Football Legend

It was a fantastic experience for me to meet former running back and return specialist, Grey Cup Champion, head coach and current General Manager for Toronto Argonauts Football Club of the Canadian Football League at Queen’s Park today.

Michael “Pinball” Clemons is well known away from the football field for his tireless work in “bringing youth from the margins to mainstream.” The Pinball Clemons Foundation provides marginalized and racialized youth with educational resources and options to integrate into the mainstream of society. Clemons says the ultimate goal of the foundation’s work is to see youth successfully entering the workforce, and becoming gainfully employed in careers they desire.
