I had the pleasure of joining my Provincial colleagues, Minister Doug Downey and MPP Andrea Khanjin, and Federal colleagues, John Brassard, Member of Parliament Barrie-Innisfil and Doug Shipley for the 25th IG Wealth Walk for Alzheimer’s Sunday morning, May 28th, at the Simcoe County Museum.
Over 400 walkers were out on this beautiful day to walk 11,000 steps in support of the 11,000 people living with Alzheimer’s in Simcoe County.
Congratulations to Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County CEO, Ann-Marie Kungl, and her team, the Board and the many many volunteers and sponsors for making this such a great community event. A big shout out and thank you to the hikers who came out and raised the much needed funds to support the 11,000 people living with Alzheimer’s in the region.
