I am pleased to inform you that the 2026-2027 intake window for the Heritage Organization Development Grant (HODG) through the Ministry of Citizenship and Multiculturalism is now open.
The HODG Grant is an annual operating grant of up to over $1,500 that supports over 165 heritage organizations across Ontario. The program helps local historical societies, small community museums, and heritage associations share and promote their community’s history, connecting stories of the past, present, and future.
Last year 165 heritage organizations received funding from the HODG program. Applications must be submitted through Transfer Payment Ontario (TPON) by June 30, 2026, at 5 p.m. EST.
