Four-Legged Fun: 2025 Georgian Triangle Humane Society – Walk for Pets

What a fantastic turnout for the 13th Annual Walk for Pets; an event that’s quickly becoming a beloved tradition in South Georgian Bay!

Held at Harbourview Park in Collingwood, the 2025 Walk for Pets is the Georgian Triangle Humane Society’s largest annual fundraiser. This year, nearly 270 participants, and countless four-legged friends, came together in support of a vital cause. Funds raised will help sustain the GTHS’s ongoing operations, including its distinction as the only accessible animal hospital in the region.

This year’s walk featured an exciting announcement: Monica Merz, Chair of the Board of Directors, shared the wonderful news that construction on the long-anticipated Regional Centre for Pets and People will begin next month!

Congratulations to the dedicated staff and volunteers, who made the event possible, and sincere thanks to all who participated and demonstrated their love and support for animals.
