École élémentaire catholique Notre Dame de la Huronie

Congratulations to teachers, administrators, staff and students, past and present, of École élémentaire catholique Notre Dame de la Huronie in Collingwood on the occasion of the school’s 10th anniversary at 55 Findlay Street in Collingwood. The school opened in Collingwood in 2012, operating out of the New Life Church building, and moved to its new location in 2016. The bright, modern, well equipped school has an on-site daycare and welcomes students from junior kindergarten to grade 8.

Principal Julie Tate provided a tour of the school, including the Library. “For the size of our school, we have an exceptionally well stocked library. I am very proud of this … the students love it here” Tate said.

Parent Council President Sophie Gravel talked about the many special theme events that occur throughout the school year, including a community barbecue, skating and movie nights.
