Collingwood World Summit

Simcoe-Grey MPP Brian Saunderson extended greetings from Premier Ford and the Government of Ontario in welcoming participants to the 3rd annual Collingwood World Summit.

“The mission of the Summit is to promote the UN Sustainable Development Goals and, SDG 11 in particular, to build towns that are safe, inclusive, resilient and sustainable.”

MPP Saunderson stated the Ford government is committed to working with municipalities, the Federal Government and stakeholders to get the appropriate types of housing built and to make life more affordable for all Ontarians.

In addition, MPP Saunderson talked about the importance of protecting the Great Lakes and the rivers and watersheds that feed them, as approximately 70% of Ontarians rely on the Great Lakes as a primary source of drinking water.
