The Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) Conference provides an opportunity for politicians, both municipal and provincial, to renew or make new connections with colleagues from all parts of the province. Premier Doug Ford spoke to attendees on day one of the conference. Those registered for this year’s AMO conference in London were able to participate in various delegation meetings with Cabinet ministers and opposition leaders and visit with conference exhibitors.
Over the two day conference I had the opportunity to join Simcoe County, Grey County, Town of Collingwood, Town of The Blue Mountains, Wasaga Beach, New Tecumseth, Clearview Township and Essa township to discuss many important priorities for our constituents.
As Parliamentary Assistant to the Attorney General, I joined Minister Doug Downey at the #AMO2023 Conference and discussed the priorities of municipalities surrounding public safety, access to justice and bail reform.
On day one of the AMO Conference, I met with ministries and officials (pictured below) from various ridings to discuss local priorities for municipalities in Simcoe-Grey.
